The Company’s Goals and Responsibilities:
Some of the company’s responsibilities are recognition, studying, development,
protection and exploiting water resources, producing hydroelectric power,
building, developing, utilization and maintenance of aquatic and electrical
constructions and establishments (except constructions and establishments
related to sewage system) according to the responsibilities included under the
related regulations and policies of Power Ministry. In order to attain the
above-mentioned goals, this company, regarding the related laws and regulations,
is apt to do the followings:
1. Running the essential researches to recognize, develop and utilize water
resources and hydro electrical power.
2. Designing and execution of plans and projects to supply and convey water of
the various areas, irrigation and drainage systems, carrying water to cities and
industries, resistance and security of the dams, engineering the rivers and
shores, controlling floodwater, artificial nurturing and producing
hydro-electrical power.
3. Utilization and maintenance of water supplying establishments and
constructions, carrying water, producing the created or transferred
hydro-electrical power.
Note: Producing hydro-electrical power would be under management of national
center of leading and dispatching country’s electricity system and if
utilization instructions are concerned.

4. Utilization of water resources according to the policies, rules and plans
approved by the ministry.
5. Execution of plans, regulations and affairs referred to by power ministry as
the agent in order to carry out the law pertaining to fair distribution of water
and other water related laws.
6. Power ministry’s ruling in allocating the water amount need in various
consumption areas.
7. Conducting necessary surveys on water resources and establishments and
hydro-electrical power and implementation of new scientific and technical
methods in order to better utilization of water resources and hydro-electrical
power and related constructions and establishments.
8. Granting concessions to applicants on the basis of the related identification
cards and in accordance with the related laws and regulations.
9. Delivering water to the applicants to be used in miscellaneous fields of
usage on the basis of the identification cards approved by concerned legal
authorities.
10. Purchasing service from the government in order to execute research and
operational affairs, utilize and maintain water establishments and water and
hydro-electrical power constructions and the consumers’ services to cut the
expenses, increasing utilization and service level.
11. Taking out any kind of loans and facilities from national and international
resources, issuing national contribution bills and selling water and
hydro-electrical power concessions in advance, and other methods of supplying
financial resources after the seizure of a legal ground.
12. Acquiring public and private section’s contribution in the execution of
plans to develop water resources, irrigation and drainage systems, carrying
water to cities and industries, engineering the rivers and shores, artificial
nurturing and producing hydro-electrical power and utilization and maintenance
of water and hydro-electrical establishments and constructions.
13. Fine cooperation and participation in investigating and examining processes
with the related organizations to scientific, technical, and economical
development in the affairs related to the company’s goals and responsibilities.
14. Executing any kind of commercial operations and transactions in accordance
with the approvals of public assembly and related laws and regulations that are
considered to be necessary, economical, and advisable for the company.
