This stone dam is made with chiseled limestones lying in rows of the same height
with a plaster of mortar and sand between the rows. A water spillway is dug in
the stone of the dam and there are raised or staired pools in the reservoir and
on the right and left hand supports of the dam. The dam is 9 m wide at the base
and becomes thinner toward the top. It is built directly on the marni-sandstone
and conglomerate-base. A substructure made with the same material acts as the
main support for the dam. The crest of the dam is 5.82 m long, 5.6 m wide and 18
m tall from the deepest point in the valley. The actual water capacity of the
reservoir is estimated to be 350,000 cubic meters.
